April was kind of crummy. I had a virus that wouldn’t let go. It rained 15 days out of 30. I barely got outside. So it was a huge relief to get to the lakefront for a couple of hours yesterday. I have the feeling I wasn’t the only one who thought so.

Thursday, I decided to stay in to avoid the bitter cold but went to the 38th floor of my building to get a view from above. Saturday, it was warmer.  I went out around 4:30 pm  and watched the light change on the Point as the sun went down.

Geese!

Update:  It has been pointed out to me that these are not ducks but geese.  Which demonstrates how much I know about such things.   Also from Saturday I was hoping to get some more photos of them in flight, but they outlasted me. Brrrr.
